Statement on yesterdays incident

Northants Knights is deeply saddened to inform our fans, supporters, and the wider Britball community at large that one of our players, Joshua Jennings, collapsed on the field during a game against Sheffield Giants late in the 4th quarter. He suffered cardiac arrest and an abnormal heart rhythm.

Our team members and medical staff responded quickly and provided prompt CPR on the field, which was instrumental in saving his life. Joshua was immediately airlifted to a Coventry hospital, where he received the best medical care available.

Currently, Joshua remains in a stable condition.

We would like to thank NHS medical staff and the first responders for their quick and efficient response. We also want to express our gratitude to the heroes who provided prompt CPR on the field. Your actions saved Joshua's life, and we are eternally grateful.

We understand that this news may be unsettling for our fans and the Britball community. We want to reassure you that we will keep you updated on Joshua's condition as we receive updates from our medical team.

At this time, we ask for privacy and respect for Joshua and his family. We urge everyone to keep Joshua in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Once again, we thank everyone for their support and concern, and we ask that you continue to support Joshua as he undergoes the necessary medical care and rehabilitation.
